Summary

An insurance pricing proof of concept built to aggregate pricing information from live insurance websites and process the results into a centralized system.

The project started as a proof of concept to explore whether insurance pricing could be retrieved, processed, and made available through a software workflow rather than handled manually.

The system used scheduled Laravel tasks and browser automation to retrieve pricing data, process the results, and store them in a database.

The initial engagement evolved into an ongoing software consulting relationship, with the work later expanding into other internal systems and business automation projects.

My Role

I designed and built the proof of concept end to end, including the application, data processing workflow, browser automation, scheduled tasks, and database integration.

I also worked directly with the client to understand the business requirements and turn the initial concept into a working system.
