Summary

A workforce scheduling application built for a company operating around the clock.

Managing employee shifts and days off was a tedious monthly process. The company received employee schedules from a manpower agency and needed to manually organize the available employee pools into the required shifts.

I built a system that accepts the monthly schedule as an input and automatically assigns employees to shifts and days off based on the available workforce.

Instead of manually preparing the roster each month, administrators can upload the current schedule and let the system generate the assignments.

This significantly reduced the amount of manual work required for monthly scheduling.

My Role

I designed and built the application and the scheduling workflow, including the administrative interface, employee management, schedule processing, and automated shift assignment.

The most complex part of the project was developing the scheduling logic to handle the company's 24/7 operating requirements and generate usable rosters from the manpower agency's monthly schedule.
